Youngsters always represent their school with pride on and off the pitch - but now they look like a real team after the backing of a sponsor.
SEDCO Ltd owners Anthony and Angela Riley sponsored a full kit for St Peter's CE Primary School's sports teams to wear.
The children specifically requested matching hoodies, which were also generously bought for them.
Curtis Wakes and Sarah Cowell, the PE subject leads, believe wearing the kits help bring the children together to feel like a team.
They say children take pride in their appearance at competitions now and very much enjoy representing the school in a range of competitions.
Mrs Jenny Scott co-headteacher said: "The children look smart and corporate when they go out to attend competitions. We are very grateful, as a school, for the generous sponsorship of the new kits and we are looking forward to having lots of children engaging in competitive sports over the coming months. Thank you to SEDCO LTD on behalf of all the staff and children; it is very much appreciated."
Anthony at Leigh based SEDCO said: "We think its important as a local company to give something back to the community. There is no better way for us to do that than by supporting local schools and children; particularly in their desire to play competitive sports."
