Paddy McGuinness has announced several new dates for his new stand up tour which runs into next year.

The Farnworth-born comedian will be visiting venues across the UK and Ireland until April next year on his "Nearly There" tour.

He will be entertaining audiences in venues as far away as Aberdeen and Bournemouth.

But the nearest he will get to his hometown will be the Lowry Theatre which he will visit in March next year.

The tour will begin in Blackburn when he visits the King George's Hall in October and finish up in Dublin in April 2025.

Announcing four new dates of his tour on Instagram, he said: "All the new tour dates have been added and are on sale now!"

The comedian, who rose to fame with fellow Bolton man Peter Kay on sitcom Phoenix Nights and has gone on to star as a host of prime time shows including Top Gear and A Question of Sport.

He also recently appeared on news show Question Time where he clashed with Bury North MP James Daly.

And he has featured on the Stick to Football quiz show with football stars Roy Keane, Gary Neville and Ian Wright where he spoke about the time he took stars of the game to a Greggs when he took part in Soccer Aid.

Paddy has also recently vowed to perform in his hometown.
