Firefighters tackled a blaze involving a small gas cannister in the room of a property in Farnworth last night.
Crews from Bolton Central and Farnworth responded to the fire on Watson Road at around 9.40pm.
After carrying out a number of checks, they made the scene safe and stayed for around an hour.
Greater Manchester Police were also called, along with the North West Ambulance Service.

There were no reported injuries.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “At around 9.40pm last night (Wednesday February 28) four fire engines from Bolton Central and Farnworth fire stations attended reports of a fire involving a small gas cannister in the room of a property on Watson Road, Farnworth.
“Crews carried out checks to make the scene safe and were in attendance for around one hour.”
