New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to one of Bolton’s Greggs and two takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
Examining food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and the management of food safety, inspectors have rated one eatery a five out of five, one eatery a three and one eatery a one out of five food hygiene rating.
Greggs, a restaurant, cafe, or canteen at Manchester Road, BL3 2NZ, was awarded a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 27.
The inspection report states the eatery is very good in all areas.
Greggs sells a range of items including baked goods such as pasties and sausage rolls, as well as a wide range of sandwiches and more.
The eatery has a 4.5 out of 5 customer rating on Just Eat.
Bolton was given a score of three on January 25.
Essano, a takeaway at 223 Manchester Road, Kearsley,The inspection report states the eatery is generally satisfactory in all areas.
Essano sells a range of dishes including burgers, pizzas and kebabs and a range of desserts and meal deals.
The eatery has a 4.5 out of 5 customer rating on Just Eat.

Finally, a Bolton takeaway has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
Hajis Pizza and Grill, a takeaway at 23 St Helens Road, Bolton was given the score after assessment on January 17, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
The eatery sells pizzas, wraps, kebabs, burgers and more.
The inspection report states improvement is necessary for the hygienic food handling and cleanliness and condition of facilities and building whilst major improvement is necessary for the management of food safety.
It means that of Bolton's 359 takeaways with ratings, 142 (40 per cent) have ratings of five and just four have zero ratings.
