A ground-breaking conference to explore, discuss and shape the future of Artificial Intelligence will be held in Bolton.
The “Greater Manchester One-Day AI Conference – A Consortium of AI Thinkers” event will be held in June at the University of Bolton’s campus on Deane Road.
The conference will be themed around “next generation artificial intelligence” and feature a range of keynote speakers.
University of Bolton School of Creative Technologies research co-ordinator Celestine Iwendi said: “The event is a unique opportunity for experts from various disciplines to come together, exchange ideas, and explore synergies in AI research and application.
“Through networking sessions with industry leaders and the students’ union, participants will have the chance to forge meaningful connections, potentially leading to impactful partnerships and collaborations.
“The aim is to propel the field of AI forward, to advance innovation and shape the future of artificial intelligence.”

The one-day event will aim to foster collaboration and innovation across various disciplines and will also feature a panel discussion.
Head of the University’s School of Arts and Creative Technologies Sam Johnson said: “The more cross-fertilisation of activity that goes on between Schools the better.”
The conference will be held at the University of Bolton’s Senate House building on June 7 from 10am.
