A Farnworth man has been charged in connection with several thefts from shops which took place last year.
Jason Wadsworth, 28, has been charged with 15 offences for shoplifting as well as criminal damage to a property and common assault.
According to officers, these charges are a result of an investigation by Greater Manchester Police’s Bolton South Neighbourhood Policing Team into offences that occurred between August and September last year in Farnworth.
He was remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday, February 27.

A spokesperson for GMP said: "A man has been charged in connection with thefts from shops in Bolton.
"Jason Wadsworth from the Farnworth area has been charged with 15 offences for shoplifting in addition to criminal damage to a property and common assault.
"He was remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 27 February 2024.
"These charges are a result of investigation by GMP’s Bolton South Neighbourhood Policing Team into offences that occurred between August and September 2023 in Farnworth."
