Drivers in and around Bolton will have seven National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And three of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing waits of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week.
Each evening from 8pm to 5am up to March 2, there will be moderate delays between 10 and 30 minutes on the M61 in both directions between junction four and seven.
This is due to a lane closure for horticulture works including cutting and planting.
Each evening from 8.30pm to 5am up to March 9, there will be slight delays of under 10 minutes on the M61 southbound between junction five and six.
This is due to a lane closure for drainage works on behalf of National Highways.
A further five closures will begin over the next two weeks.

From today, Wednesday, February 28 to March 1, between the hours of 8pm and 5am, there will be slight delays on the M61 northbound between junctions three and four.
This is due to a lane closure for inspection and survey on behalf of National Highways.
From February 29 to March 2, between the hours of 9pm and 5am, there will be moderate delays on the M61 southbound between junctions three and four.
This is due to lane closures and a slip road closure for barrier works, this is permanent on behalf of National Highways.
From March 9 to March 10, between the hours of 10pm and 10am, there will be moderate delays on the M61 between junction three and the A666 northbound and southbound.
This is due to a carriageway closure due to maintenance works.
From March 9 to March 11, between the hours of 9pm and 5am, there will be slight delays on the M61 in both directions between junction four and five.
This is due to a lane closure for barrier works, this is permanent on behalf of National Highways.
Finally, from March 11 to March 15, between the hours of 8pm and 5am, there will be slight delays on the M61 northbound between junction five and six.
This is for a lane closure on behalf of National Highways.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
