A hairdresser who appeared on Come Dine With Me is celebrating moving his business to a bigger space.
Shane Mcloughlin, from Morris Green, appeared on the Channel 4 show, Come Dine With Me, earlier this month.
He finished in last place but this has not stopped Shane from continuing to enjoy cooking and doing his second favourite thing – hairdressing.
Shane has now moved his salon Trend Hair on Chorley Old Road to Chorley New Road.
He said: “I’m doing more treatments like facials and aesthetics with filler and massage.
“I want it to become a wellness place for people to relax and have some time for themselves. My clients are like my friends so it’s a friendly atmosphere.
“Last year I did my teaching so I can teach everything I am taught in, mainly my hairdressing so hope to become an academy.”
Shane had been a hairdresser for 14 years when he was asked to take part in the popular Come Dine With Me show.
He said: “I always knew I wanted to be a hairdresser and used to love The Little Mermaid and used to love how her hair used to move in the water.
“I love my job because I get to meet different people of all ages and walks of life.
“I like it when they come, and we have a chat because it’s a friendly atmosphere.”
Since appearing on Come Dine With Me, Shane has been recognised as having been on the show.
He said: “It’s been a bit strange getting noticed when doing my shopping and stuff and I have had new customers with people wanting to get their hair done by me, so it has helped my business a little bit.

“They all love it and are always very happy.
“People say they have seen me on TV so wanted to book in with me.
“I do want to do more TV and would love to do something on Gogglebox.”
Shane has also been meeting up with his fellow cast-mates on the show and the group are planning a big reunion soon.
He said: “Louis sent me a video yesterday singing Amy Winehouse on the ukelele. So, we all have good friendship.”
