Drug dealers operating in the Astley Bridge area are being targeted by police following concerns by residents.
Neighbours living in the area say that drugs are being pushed in Drummond Street, Warwick Street and Logan Street.
Residents reported that people wait on the corner, a car pulls up and they exchange "money and drugs through the window".
This week, officers say they have been carrying out an operation to specifically target drug dealing.
A spokesman for GMP Bolton North said: "Officers have been patrolling the Astley Bridge area this week to target drug dealing.
"At a recent PACT meeting, the community expressed concerns about drug supply on the streets of Astley Bridge.
"We will continue to target the issues that the community say affect them the most.
"If you have any information regarding drug dealing in your area, you can contact the independent charity, CrimeStoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111 or via their website: https://orlo.uk/3TpLV."
