A two day music festival as held with talented young people taking to the stage.
Bolton School's junior girls' school performed at the two day concert.
The school’s best pianists took to the stage on the opening day.
Day two saw girls playing a range of instruments, including string, vocal, woodwind, brass, drums and guitar, in another wonderful day of music.
The festival ended with a beginner class section and a selection of ensembles.
The top performers from all categories will take part in a Celebratory Concert on the evening of Thursday, March 7.
Carol Laverick, head of the junior girls’ school, said: ‘Our music festival has been a real highlight of the term, with so many girls taking part.
"I thoroughly enjoyed all the performances, from our youngest girls just setting out on their musical journeys, to the older and more experienced musicians who are really starting to develop their skills.
"The final session was probably my favourite, with all of the ensembles – there is something very special about coming together as a group to perform. Well done to everyone who took part and thank you to those parents who were able to join us."
