A car was seized after police reportedly caught its driver travelling with no insurance.
The grey Vauxhall was spotted by police on patrol on Chorley Old Road in Bolton earlier during the afternoon of Sunday, February 18.
After further investigation the officers found that the car had not been properly insured.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Officers from the Bolton North Neighbourhood Team sighted this vehicle earlier this afternoon on Chorley Old Road.
“They established that the vehicle did not have any policy of insurance in place, therefore the vehicle was seized under S165 RTA.
“The driver was issued with a Traffic Offence Report.”
An image supplied by police shows the grey Vauxhall having been stopped ahead of being seized.
This comes amid ongoing concerns about anti-social driving and crime on the roads all around Bolton in recent months.
This has included driving without insurance or licences, speeding and drink or drug driving.
Officers have also dealt with cases of car theft and vehicle damage.
Police have appealed for anyone with any further information or concerns to get in touch with them by calling 101 or 999 in the event of an emergency.
Alternatively, witnesses can contact independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
