A man was arrested in Great Lever last week after the town saw an increase in car crime.
The man has bene taken into custody after reports of various car crime in Great Lever.
Police are urging people to remain vigilant and keep all valuables out of sight and out of cars as well as ensuring they park in well-lit areas with CCTV.
A police spokesman said: "Last week the Great Lever community saw an increase in vehicle crime.
"Following enquiries, one male has been arrested and questioned on a number of offences linked to the crimes in question.
"We urge the local community to continue to ensure that no belongings are left on display in vehicles, and that vehicles are locked and left in well lit areas covered by CCTV.

It comes as GMP launched patrols last year to focus on car crime in areas like Great Lever which have seen them talk to residents and offer support on how to prevent car crime.
