A woman and her family are "worried sick" as they appeal for help to find their cat who has been missing for five months.
Alix Jibson's six-year-old cat Boris was not at their Tottington home after she returned from work on September 29 last year.
She had let him out that morning, along with his sister Betsy, and they had gone out for their usual few minutes.
The cats come and go as they please while the family are out of the house at work.
Alix, 23, says Boris never went further than the front or back garden and so him running away would be very out of character.
Alix and her family have been tirelessly searching for Boris since he went missing, and she has been posting non-stop on social media in the hope someone will spot Boris.
She is worried that someone may have taken him due to his usually staying close to home.
She also said she does not believe anything has happened to Boris as he is microchipped and so she would have likely heard something from a vets practice.
Boris is a fully grey Russian Blue, but Alix says some lightings show slight, darker stripes on him.
Alix said: “We are all worried sick, he’s our little baby and not knowing where or how he is, is killing us.
“Please, if anyone is keeping him and preventing him from coming home to us, please reconsider your actions.
"We have known him since he was 10-weeks-old. We got him with his sister and they have never been apart for this long.
“Not knowing what has happened to him or even if he’s safe is the worst feeling ever.
“He isn’t valuable, except to us- he’s just our little baby boy.”
She added: “I just hope if someone is keeping him from us, let him back to his loving family and sister.”
