The best childcare providers in Bolton have been revealed following the release of government data.
Education watchdog, Ofsted, carries out routine inspections for nurseries and pre-schools across the country, following a grading system.
This ranges from grade one, outstanding, being the best, to grade four, inadequate, being the worst.
Below is a list of childcare providers that have been awarded by Ofsted with the highest overall rating of Outstanding.
Inspection dates range from 2018 to 2023.
Last inspection date – June 23, 2022
What inspectors said: “Parents say that children flourish in the dedicated care and nurture they experience at this outstanding nursery.
“The ethos of respect for others and the world shines through staff's and children's interactions.
“Children show they are happy and secure as they eagerly interact with various staff members. They are kind and gentle, taking great care of each other.
“Children are safe in a carefully designed, structured environment that promotes exploration and mastery of physical skills.”
Future Champions Children's Nursery – ‘Outstanding’
Last inspection date – February 15, 2019
What inspectors said: “Parents highly commend the outstanding quality of learning experiences and exemplary care that is on offer at this nursery.
“Staff are passionate about their role as early years practitioners.
“The very impressive teaching children receive helps them to develop an extensive range of skills, abilities and attitudes that support their ongoing learning.”

What inspectors said: “The leader's commitment to enabling every child to be emotionally strong ensures that children flourish in this remarkable nursery.

What inspectors said: “The experienced managers passionately monitor the consistency of teaching.
“Children are exceptionally well prepared for the transition to primary school.
“Staff enthusiastically and skilfully promote children's communication and language development.”
Lever Edge Early Years Unit – ‘Outstanding’

What inspectors said: “Children's love of learning and exploration is significantly enhanced because all staff have excellent teaching skills.
“They are extremely knowledgeable and experienced in supporting children's learning.
