Former Coronation star Julie Hesmondhalgh is returning to the stage for some special performances at The Octagon in Bolton.
After filming her last scenes on Coronation Street, Julie took herself off to the Lakes to spend time reading the diaries and notebooks left by her dad, John, after his death at the start of the year.
What followed was a journey of discovery, as she got to know the bright and poetic young man through John’s words, many of them written in the 40s and 50s.
Julie will be performing her autobiography ‘These I Love’ is a hymn to Julie’s own working-class childhood in Accrington, to her wonderful dad, and to the healing power of comedy.
