A police officer arrested following a fatal crash has been released under investigation.
Emergency services were called to Blackburn Road, Egerton at around 4pm on January 30.
A 51-year-old man on a motorbike died at the scene.

A serving police officer, who was not on duty at the time and was in his own vehicle, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
A GMP spokesperson said: "He has been released under investigation."
The officer remains suspended and his case has been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct.

Police are continuing to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the scene or have CCTV or dashcam to come forward quoting incident number 2343 of 30/01/2024.
The road was closed overnight as investigations were carried out into the fatal collision.
