A cosy village pub is doing something special for friends and family this Valentine’s Day.
The Thomas Egerton pub will be rustling up some extra special dishes, accompanied by a relaxing atmosphere and a love-themed quiz for two or those in groups.
The pub is located in the heart of breath-taking scenic views and was recently placed in the top 100 places in the UK for outside dining.

The pub was identified on OpenTable’s annual list last year, which is based on research revealing that more than half (52 per cent) of UK diners prefer to dine outdoors during the summer, with pub gardens cited as the most sought-after venues for alfresco dining (65 per cent), followed by waterfront restaurants (42 per cent).
While al fresco dining will have to wait for a couple of months, the pub is also undergoing work to make their kitchen bigger, which will allow them to increase the size of their menu, which is anticipated to be completed by summer.
There are limited spaces available for the Valentine’s special, so customers should ensure early bookings.
The quiz will take place on February 14 from 8.30pm.
