Police officers in Bolton say illegal parking 'will not be tolerated' as they carry out patrols in Rumworth.
Officers conducted high visibility patrols on Deane Road and St Helens Road and dealt with a number of alleged driving offences including drivers who had parked on double yellow lines or in the bus lane.
Drivers can be hit with fines if caught parking in restricted areas.

A GMP Bolton North spokesperson said:" Today officers have conducted high visibility patrols on Deane Road and St Helens Road, dealing with vehicles parked on double yellows and in the bus lane.
"Parking like this can lead to hazards for the public and will not be tolerated."
