Bolton-based Mansell Building Solutions has been recognised as the best supplier in the region at the Insider North West Residential Property Awards held this week.

Held at Manchester Central and compered by Martin Bayfield, trophies were presented in 15 categories and Mansell fought off tough competition to be crowned Supplier of the Year.

Having provided strong case studies on its delivery of a range of projects, including Aviva Studios and Salford Passivhaus Schemes, Mansell cited it’s work with a rage of key clients, such as Seddon, Rowlinson, Laing O’Rourke and Bowmer & Kirkland.

Proud to work with some of the region’s biggest housing organizations, including Manchester City Council, One Manchester and Dérive, Mansell champions modern methods of construction (MMC) which provide time and cost savings versus traditional processes.

Mansell Building Solutions was established in 1992 and is currently ran by sisters Angela and Stephanie Mansell who assumed responsibility for the business from their father in 2018.

Angela, managing director of Mansell Building Solutions, collected the award alongside Ibby Mahmood, strategic growth manager, and said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have won this award, especially as the judges stated that modern methods of construction is something the whole industry should be embracing.

“Adopting MMC, particularly for new-build homes, is quick, sustainable and can help to address the UK’s housing crisis, so it’s a no brainer as far as we’re concerned! We just need to keep banging the drum about its benefits so that more and more businesses adopt a forward-thinking mindset and this trophy will definitely help us to do that.

“As a family-run business, our people are very important to us and I’d like to take this opportunity to dedicate this award to every one of our employees who, without them, the company wouldn’t exist.”
