A lucky player hit the jackpot winning a huge £25,000 at Mecca Bingo in Bolton.
The regular player, who wishes to remain anonymous, at the Ormrod Street club hit the jackpot on Mecca’s Big Bonus Game on January 18.
Mecca launched Big Bonus, which costs £1 to play, last year.
Exclusive to Mecca, the game is played twice a day in Mecca’s clubs nationwide, with the jackpot growing steadily until it is won.
Sandra Smith was duty manager at the club on the night of the big win and described the shock that befell the club.

She said: “All of our clubs link up to play Big Bonus and at first everyone thought that winner had won our local house prize of £634, but then the caller announced that because they’d completed their ticket on the number 60, they’d triggered the national jackpot as well, which had built up to a whopping £25,000!
“Everyone in the club froze and the winner was so shocked, they had to come back to the club a few days later to claim the house prize!”
It’s thought that the winner is now planning a holiday to celebrate.
“It’s a wonderful start to the year. Making winners is such a lovely part of the job, we're just overjoyed for them,” added Sandra.
