Bolton library, museum and aquarium is set to be closed for one day this weekend.

The services will be closed on Sunday, February 4, due to electrical maintenance work at Bolton Town Hall.

The library, museum and aquarium will then reopen on Monday, February 5 at 9am.

The Alex Michaelides author talk has been re-located to Smithills Hall due to the closure.

A spokesperson for Bolton Library and Museum Services said: “We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

“Please note that the Alex Michaelides author talk scheduled for Sunday, February 4, will now take place at Smithills Hall.

“Anyone with tickets has been sent an email with further information. This also means that the event is now a ticket-only event. The event is sold out, but a waiting list is in force.

“We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.”
