A 45-year-old man has been charged following a theft from a vehicle.
Gary Greenhalgh, of no fixed abode has been charged with two fraud offences.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Monday (29 January).
It follows an investigation by the Bolton North neighbourhood team after a theft from a vehicle in Bromley Cross on Saturday 20 January.
Officers said the charge, comes during National Policing Week and is part of the team's commitment to clamp down on thefts in the area.
