New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of Bolton’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
Examining food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and the management of food safety, inspectors have rated one eatery a four out of five and three eateries a three out of five food hygiene rating.
Bolton was handed a four out of five rating after assessment on January 10.
Tribez Steak & Grill, a restaurant, cafe, or canteen at 242 Halliwell Road,The eatery’s inspection report states both the hygienic food handling and the management of food safety are good whilst the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building is generally satisfactory.
Hygiene inspectors have also rated three eateries a three out of five after recent inspection.
Thai Noodles and Rice Street Food, a takeaway at R/O College Way, 98 Derby Street was given a score of three on December 15.
The inspection report states the eatery is generally satisfactory in all areas.
Horwich Ltd, at 137-141 Chorley New Road, Horwich, Bolton was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on December 19.

Finally, Zamzam Pizza and Grill, at 270 Deane Road, Bolton was also given a score of three on December 19.
The inspection report on the Food Standards Agency’s website states the eatery is generally satisfactory in all areas for its hygienic food handling, the management of food safety and for the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building.
It means that of Bolton's 439 restaurants, cafes, and canteens with ratings, 245 (56 per cent) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
