A car which police believe may have been “used in crime” has been seized in a frosty backstreet.
The dark coloured car was found by police amid snowy and icy conditions on Saturday parked on a backstreet in Kearsley.
Officers say they seized the car and will now investigate further.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “This car was found in a backstreet in Kearsley by your local neighbourhood team.
“The vehicle was seized as potentially being used in crime so that further enquires can be made.”
An image supplied by police shows the car being towed away from the snowy backstreet.
As yet no further details have been released about the nature of the crime officers believe the car to have been used in or about the identity or whereabouts of the driver.
But this comes after several other unconnected cars were seized over the course of the weekend in various other parts of Bolton as part of routine police patrols.
