This photo shows a train passing in front of the flats in The Pocket in Deane in 1975.
Between the two blocks you can see The Saviours Church on Deane Road which was being demolished.
It’s likely the photographer was looking from Heaton Cemetery to record this ‘farewell’ appearance by the church.
