A number of people have recently been in court for breaking the speed limit on a major road into Bolton.
The A666 at St Peter's Way runs from the M60 ring road into the centre of the town.
It is subject to a 50mph speed limit which is monitored by average speed cameras.
The devices capture the speed at which a vehicle goes between two set spots on the route.
And a number of people have recently been found to have driven too fast in the area.
Forid Ahmed drove an Audi at 64mph between Bradford Street and Raikes Lane in May last year while heading southbound.
The 33-year-old admitted the offence with the sentencing hearing taking place at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court.
Ahmed, of Masefield Drive, Farnworth, was fined £115 and given three points on his licence.
Moetasam Rahim drove at 59mph in a Vauxhall heading south between Bradford Street and Raikes Lane in April last year.
The case against the 39-year-old was proved at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court.
Rahim, of Blackburn Road, Astley Bridge, was fined £220 and given three points on his licence.
Oluwafemi Ojo drove a Volkswagen at 58mph heading north between Raikes Lane and Bradford Street in May last year while heading north.
The 36-year-old admitted the offence at Manchester Magistrates Court.
Ojo, of Julius Caesar Street, Sunderland, was fined £40 and given three points on his licence.
Samantha Cumberbatch drove a Nissan Qashqai at 57mph between the Raikes Lane and Bradford Street in May last year while heading north.
The case against the 50-year-old was proved at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court.
Cumberbatch, of Marsh House Lane, Darwen, was fined £220 and given three points on his licence.

Sherree Liversidge drove a Ford at 57mph between Bradford Street and Raikes Lane heading south.
The 30-year-old admitted the offence at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court.
Liversidge, of Roberts Court, Leeds, was fined £40 and given three points on her licence.
