A motorist has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving in Great Lever after being spotted by officers in the area.
Neighbourhood police were out on patrol last night (Monday January 15) when they came across the vehicle.
After stopping the vehicle and carrying out a check, police say that the driver reportedly had no insurance.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “Your local officers have been out patrolling the streets of Great Lever tonight when they have come across a vehicle.
“A stop check confirmed it to have no insurance.”
