Three people have been arrested after a shoplifting incident and drugs found at a house.
On Friday, January 12, police in Horwich attended an address of a man they suspected of shoplifting.
While there, they arrested two other men after finding possession of drugs and offensive weapons.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "Officers from the Horwich neighbourhood team arrested three suspects in the early hours of Friday, January 12.
"Officers were looking to locate a male suspected of shoplifting in local Horwich stores and located him within an address in Horwich.
"Also present in the address were two males who were found to be in possession of drugs and offensive weapons.
"In total - One male was arrested for shoplifting x 2 and possession with intent to supply a Class B Substance.
"One male was arrested for possession with intent to supply a Class A substance, a Class B substance and possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.
"A juvenile was also arrested for possession of a Class B with intent to supply.
"All three remain in custody to be questioned in relation to these matters."
Police have recently been upping patrols to reduce crime in Bolton and have been holding meetings with the public to discuss crime.
