A new bar opens in Westhoughton tonight - with plans to open a restaurant on site next month.
It Sear on Market Street is the new addition to the town which is developing a reputation as a vibrant food and drink destination.
Jack Ince, from Deane, is part owner at It Sear Westhoughton along with David Murphy.
He said that for the next five weeks Jack says the focus will be on the bar, whilst the restaurant is being finished, due to open next month.

Jack said: “I am looking forward to the excitement of it all, meeting customers and to getting the feedback from people.
“We have put a lot of time and effort into it.
“I am very confident it will be busy.”
Jack says that he can see Westhoughton becoming the new favourite place to go.
He said: “Westhoughton is very up and coming.
“There’s going to be a lot more bars and restaurants, and I think it will take over Bolton.”
He says that there are already quite a lot of pubs and bars in the area, and that the only thing missing are more restaurants.
After being a chef since he was 16, Jack is keen to oversee the restaurant side when it opens.
He said: “I will then be focusing more on the restaurant side and doing the bar for the first month, which will be a great chance to speak to customers.”
The style of food will be English tapas, which will be changed quite frequently depending on the season and the ingredients.
Jack added: “The good thing is I can change the food when I want and can be creative with it.”
With high hopes for the future, Jack says that they would hopefully like to open more bar and grills in the future.
There are also plans to carry out a refurbishment on the restaurant later down the line.
The bar will officially open today at 5pm, tomorrow from 12pm until late, and the same on Sunday, which will change next week.
