Tickets are now on sale for an annual event run by breast cancer survivor Debbie Dowie, the wife of former professional footballer Iain Dowie.

Debbie set up the charity Boot Out Breast Cancer after being diagnosed herself in 2010 at the age of 41.

Debbie went on to make a full recovery after undergoing a mastectomy on one of her breasts and being able to have immediate reconstructive surgery because her lymph nodes were clear.

A ladies lunch will take place on Thursday, March 21 from 12pm until 4pm at the stunning Rivington Hall Barn.

The Bolton News:

The doors will open at 11.30am for shopping, followed by a champagne reception, and a three-course meal.

There will also be live entertainment by pop icon Collective.

Tickets cost £55 with all proceeds going towards purchasing much needed equipment for the Bolton NHS Breast Unit.

Boot Out Breast Cancer is run by 100 per cent volunteers which ensures that every penny is given to the cause.
