Big Santa was looking a little worse for wear as he received a lift to the North Pole after a frantic festive season.
The city centre icon was seen on the back of a truck on Oxford Street at around 10am on Monday (January 8).

Installed around eight weeks ago, the two-tonne, 12-metre Big Santa sat outside the Central Library at the heart of the Christmas Market.
It was around four years ago he replaced the so-called Zippy Santa with his popular predecessor moving to Kellogg's UK in Trafford Park.
He was looking a little worse for wear after a frantic festive season but even with his legs around his white whiskers he was sporting the signature smile for which he is well-loved across the region.
