Residents whose bins were missed have been urged to put them out the next day.
Bolton Council issued a list of addresses where bins were missed off the rounds and advised people to put them out a day later to be collected.
The council had assured people the bins would be collected within 48 hours and this has now been done.
On Wednesday and Thursday, Bolton Council published a list of addresses where bins were missed due to mainly operational issues.
The list included Ainsworth Lane, Aldercroft Avenue, Bolton Road, Buller Street, Crompton Way, Egerton Street and Ena Street.

Some of these were due to no access while many were due to operations issues.
Cllr Hilary Fairclough previously responded to complaints regarding missed bin collections.
She said: “A number of burgundy and beige bins have not been collected today in the mainly Sharples area.

“I have chased this up and be told that there have been operational issues, and they will be collected in the next 48 hrs, please do put your bins out again tomorrow.
“Don’t forget no green bins are being collected until the next recycling collection.
“You can check if your area and street is on the list by logging into the council website.”
Bin collection dates were changed over the Christmas and New Year period.
Beige and burgundy bins that would normally be collected on January 1 were scheduled instead to be collected between January 3 and January 5.
This means many addresses may yet to have theirs collected.
One man said: “This is honestly just so ridiculous now.
“So, they’re fine with us leaving it out there for weeks on end, don’t come to collect it, and then when we get rats, they’ll take ages to come then as well.
“It’s not just Christmas and New Year, this is happening too often, what operational issues can they not fix?”
Residents are also being advised to not put batteries of any kind in grey bins or recycling bins as they can cause fires in waste wagons and at the recycling centre.
Instead, they can be put in the recycling containers at most supermarkets.
Bolton Council also advised what can be done to Christmas Trees in this time.
A spokesman said: "If you are wondering what to do with your Christmas tree, it can be turned into compost.
"Christmas trees can be taken to the tip and put it in the green waste, or cut up and put in green bins for collection.
"Remember to remove the base, which is too big to compost, as well as any lights or decorations."
Christmas trees can also be collected by the council for a small charge. Call 01204 336 632 to arrange a collection. Last collection is Friday 12 January.
