"I am a born and raised Bolton boy growing up in Tonge Moor. I have been involved in amateur dramatics in and around Bolton since the age of ten including numerous musicals, pantomimes and cabarets.
"This is my first professional break as a pantomime comic and I couldn’t think of a better part to be playing than ‘Buttons’ as it was the first part I ever played in amateur panto! I am especially proud to be working for ‘Charming Entertainment’ who pride themselves on making their shows accessible and affordable so every family can experience the magic of live theatre at Christmas."
Carl Marsden, on behalf of the production, added: ‘The shows we produce are very much for the people of Bolton, it’s their Panto and having local home-grown talent at the center of Cinderella is simply the icing on the cake. Kurtis started working Front of House at The Victoria Hall back in 2019 where his eagerness to be on the stage entertaining shone through. It’s incredible that he’s now a principal role in our rags to riches tale of Cinderella and there’s absolutely no doubt this isn’t the last we’ve seen of Kurtis’.
You can catch Kurtis in Cinderella at The Victoria Hall which runs until the 6th January 2024.
