A cyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries after he was hit by a car in Stretford.
The emergency services were called to Chester Road close to the M60 on Boxing Day.
On arrival a cyclist, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries with the potential to be "life-changing". At around 3.45pm he was hit by a Renault Scenic.
There are no arrests at this time but the police are appealing for any witnesses as part of an investigation into the incident by GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
