An 18-year-old man died after suffering a seizure at his home, an inquest opening heard.
Choudhry Perveen died after the seizure at his home on Beverley Road, Heaton, on October 28 this year.
Mr Perveen, who was a student, suffered a 'cardiac arrest' and was taken to Royal Bolton Hospital before being declared dead the same day.
An inquest into his death opened on Wednesday, December 20 at Bolton Coroners Court.
Police Coroners Officer Julie Ann Hyde said: "Mr Perveen suffered a seizure at his home and went into cardiac arrest. Despite medical intervention, he continued to deteriorate."
Ms Hyde said there did not appear to have been any suspicious circumstances around his death.
Pathologist Dr Patrick Waugh gave Mr Perveen's medical cause of death as being 'unascertained'.
Coroner Timothy Brennand set the full inquest to be heard on April 3.
He asked for evidence from Mr Perveen's GP, Royal Bolton Hospital and the North West Ambulance Service to be submitted by February 2.
