A driver has been arrested on suspicion of driving over the limit on a controlled substance.
It comes as Bolton South police were out on patrol in Farnworth when they pulled over a vehicle in Farnworth.
The man has since been taken to police custody whilst enquiries are carried out.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police, Bolton South, said: “This weekend your local officers have been out patrolling when they have stopped a vehicle in the Farnworth area.

“Whilst a search of the vehicle proved negative, the driver of the vehicle was found to be over the limit for a controlled substance and subsequently taken into police custody.”
Anyone with any concerns can call police on 101 or 999 in the event of emergency.
