Police have arrested three people on suspicion of drug offences in Halliwell and in the town centre.
Officers were out in Bolton on Friday as part of Greater Manchester Police's (GMP) Operation Venture, which involves targeting crime hotspots.
Three arrests were made after a car, which was reportedly being driven in a "suspicious manner", was stopped on Ely Grove.
The men, two aged 22 and one aged 21, were taken into custody on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class B drugs.
Meanwhile, another man aged 33 was arrested on suspicion of being in breach of his court bail.
A GMP spokesperson said: "As a result, two 22-year-old males and a 21-year-old male were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class B drugs.
"The team seized numerous mobile phones, drugs, and drug paraphernalia. They remain in custody.
"Also part of the day’s operation, another man, aged 33, unconnected to the vehicle stop, was arrested on suspicion of being in breach of his court bail."
Police carried out patrols on Bradshawgate as part of the same operation in October.
Last month the operation led to police carrying out a weapons sweep in Astley Bridge.
Earlier this week a man was detained on Newport Street.
