Bolton comic Paddy McGuinness has assured fans he has plans to perform in his hometown as part of his national tour.
The popular TV presenter announced he was going on tour in one of his Instagram shower specials, releasing dates shortly after.
Closest to home is The Lowry, with tickets selling fast for the show, entitled "Paddy McGuinness - Nearly There".
As yet Bolton is not on the list but taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, he revealed he was still looking for a place to perform in his hometown.
The tour runs from October 2024 till March 2025.
Paddy is set do a stand-up show at Blackburn’s King George’s Hall, The Lowry, and The Blackpool opera House as the closest ones to Bolton.
He said: "We’re looking into more dates for the tour. Got to squeeze in another Manchester along with Ireland, Liverpool and of course… Bolton! You’ll know when I know, what I know you’ll know, then we’ll all know. No? "
Paddy was born and grew up in Bolton before stardom took him to London.
He will perform at The Lowry on March 28 2025.
Paddy rose to fame starring in Phoenix Nights alongside Peter Kay, who also came home over the weekend to perform in Bolton at the Octagon.
The former Top Gear host posted to Instagram to announce his tour.
He said: “I’ve been itching to tell you this! After a six year break, I’m finally back on Tour!!! Paddy McGuinness - Nearly There. All pre-ticket sale links in my Bio. See you in the New Year… live.”
Recently, Paddy was on TV for Don’t Look Down for Stand Up To Cancer for Channel 4.
The gruelling show saw Paddy lead a host of reality stars and athletes on a high wire walk.
The stars were coached how to do the high wire walk with a series of practice runs and thrills including suspending high atop a cliff and having to sleep there.
Other locations on Paddy's tour is Hull, Leicester, London, York, and Bath.
