A man has been taken to hospital with serious head injuries after a collision with a bus in the city centre last night.
Specialist investigators from Greater Manchester Police (GMP) are appealing for information after a pedestrian was involved in a collision with a bus in Manchester.
The 54-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious head injuries following the incident on Portland Street at around 11:30pm last night, December 9.
The bus driver remained at the scene and no arrests have been made.
Anyone with information, dashcam footage or who was in the area at the time should contact GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 0161 856 4741 quoting log 3954-091223.
Another man, in his 40s, has sustained serious leg injuries after being hit by a different bus in a similar location at around 1am this morning.
Anyone with information should contact police quoting log 210-10/12/23.
