A road in Over Hulton is set to be closed on the lead up to Christmas to allow to take place.
Reynolds Drive will be closed on Friday, December 22 for approximately one day whilst manhole repair works are ongoing.
The road closure will prohibit all traffic from proceeding on Reynolds Drive from Umberton Road to Thirlmere Road to allow works to take place.
There will be diversions in the area to allow residents to travel with ease.

To ensure recycling bins are emptied during the works, council officials are asking residents to present them at the nearest accessible point to ensure that they can be emptied on the usual collection days.
Council officials say they want to apologise for any inconvenience the closure may cause.
