Give us some history about the pub:
The Northern Way is a little gem in the centre of Bolton. We serve lots of different things so we can cater to everyone. Cheap pints, cocktails, hot drinks and every gin you could think of! We have a private karaoke booth that’s available whenever you want it - perfect for Christmas parties or just a fun night! We have karaoke on Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays 3-7 and we have live entertainment every Saturday from 9pm and we even have drag bingo on a Wednesday night from 6pm! So you’re never short of any entertainment in our venue! We show all live football matches and most of the big boxing matches. We have 12 TVs and even a big screen too.
Is food served? If so what’s on the menu?
We don’t serve food - but we have a large selection of snacks to choose from.
Is there a beer garden?
Yes – with heaters and we’ve just had lots of new benches delivered.
Do you have any darts/snooker/pool teams?
Unfortunately we have nowhere to put a pool table or darts board
Most popular drink served is:
Moretti or our fabulous Northern Pornstar Martini – a crowd favourite!
Most memorable moment at the pub:
Last Christmas Day when all the staff and customers celebrated together - we are all a family
Do you have an entertainment line-up?
We have live entertainment every Saturday from 9pm - usually a singer or a band but sometimes we try and shake things up with a drag artist!
Have you faced any challenges within the industry?
When it’s quiet it’s definitely a challenge trying to get the customers in - luckily it’s not often that we are quiet!
The best thing about running a pub is...
The customers who continuously support everything I put on and do. And my amazing staff who help me day in and day out!
