A road in Great Lever is set to be closed for 18 months while works are ongoing.
Freshfield Avenue will be closed from Monday, December 11 until approximately June 2025 whilst construction works are undertaken in the area.
The road closures in the area will prohibit all traffic from proceeding on Freshfield Avenue from West Meade to East Meade to allow works to take place.
A number of diversions will be in place while the construction works are ongoing so residents can travel around the area with ease.
Traffic will be diverted through Netherfield Road.

To ensure recycling bins are emptied during the works, council officials are asking residents to present them at the nearest accessible point to ensure that they can be emptied on the usual collection days.
Council officials say they want to apologise for any inconvenience the closure may cause.
