A borough band which showcased its talent on national radio last month will be taking to the stage for its Christmas concert next week.
Fresh from performing "live" to more than 7m people on the BBC Radio 2 "Children in Need" Zoe Ball Breakfast Show less than three weeks ago, the Eagley Community Choir and Band will be playing festive classics at Victoria Hall in Bolton.
Taking place on Saturday, December 16 from 7.30pm, concert goers can expect to hear Sleigh Ride, Carol of The Bells, Polar Express, Winter Wonderland, It's The Most Wonderful Time of The Year, The Christmas Song, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, I'll Be Home for Christmas, Little Town, Do You Hear What I Hear? Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth, Merry Christmas Darling and many more.

And as well as the classics, concertgoers will also see 10-year-old Olivia Holt singing "Where Are You Christmas?"
Tickets, priced at £5, can be purchased from the Victoria Hall Box Office, Booth’s Music Shop or Eagley Band President Gerry Russell now.
The first print run of tickets all sold out, so the band and choir are now into the second and final print run.
There will be more than 100 performers on stage with a few surprises in store too.
