Cinderella will be in town this weekend to meet her young fans before she takes to the stage to tell her magical story.
The cast of this Bolton's pantomime will be at Bolton Library in The Crompton Place Shopping Centre tomorrow (Saturday) from 11am to noon, "where they’ll be waiting to say hello!"
They include
Fairy Superior - Coronation Street’s Vicky Entwistle, who played Janice Battersby
Cinderella - Local actress Kelly Aaron
Prince Charming - Jordan Calloway
Dandini - Carl Thornley
The pantomime runs from December 1 and December 31.
As an extra Christmas treat those attending on the opening weekend will have a chance to meet the cast and have their photograph taken - including with the legendary Coronation Street star Vicky Entwistle.
A spokesman for the production teams said: "With 53 fun filled performances running throughout the Christmas holidays, audiences of all ages will be able to boo the wicked Ugly Sisters, laugh along with Buttons and watch our hero Prince Charming fall in love with the beautiful Cinderella.
"Pantomime at the Albert Halls is a wonderful experience for the whole family - and the entire team at Polka Dot are thrilled to be returning to present this year’s spellbinding production of Cinderella. This show promises to be the most spectacular pantomime ever staged in Bolton with a stunning set, dazzling costumes and some special Christmas magic including a flying coach to escort Cinderella to the ball! "There will be toe tapping tunes, plenty of surprises and lots of audience participation."
Vicky who played Janice Battersby, will weave her magic as Fairy Superior and comic legend Rollo will play the hilarious Buttons.
Returning for her third year is local actress Kelly Aaron as Cinderella who will be joined by Jordan Calloway as Prince Charming, Carl Thornley as Dandini and Lucy Rose Rollason as Fairy Flustered. UK Panto Award Nominees GArnon Davies and Gareth Mitchell complete the cast as the Ugly sisters!
