Police officers came under attack as they recovered a suspected stolen motorbike in Horwich yesterday (November 16).
A man has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage in Horwich.
Officers say a group of individuals threw items at police officers and their vehicles when they were on Fairbairn Street in Horwich yesterday morning..
There were no injuries to officers but damage was caused to one of the emergency vehicles.

One man has been arrested but enquiries are ongoing to identify further suspects in both this incident and other reported incidents of damage and ASB in the Horwich community.
Police have been patrolling anti-social hotspots after residents raised concerns with officers as part of the Dark Nights campaign to disrupt criminal activity as the days get shorter.
Officers from the Bolton North Neighbourhood Team were in the Astley Bridge, Bromley Cross, Bradshaw and Crompton areas to tackle anti-social behaviour.
