Bolton businesses are teaming up to support Vernon Kay who is set to finish his epic 115-mile trek for Children in Need today in Bolton.
Hunters The Bakers in Halliwell will be working with Bella’s Bakes today (Friday November 17) to raise money for the cause.
Business lead at Hunters The Bakers, Jennifer Bryant said: “We just wanted to be able to do our bit to help.
“And it’s nowhere near as amazing as what Vernon is doing, but with Vernon being a Bolton lad we thought this was a nice thing to do.

“It’s a collaboration of small Bolton businesses and great to raise some money.
“I am hoping it’s busy and goes well.
“Mainly all of us have children and with Bella Bakes being a mother and daughter duo it seemed like the right kind of charity to support, and it’s such a great charity.”
There will be lots of Children in Need themed goodies to buy with a profit going to the charity.
From 3pm customers will be able to come along and purchase their favourite Hunters and Bella’s Bakes treats, together for the first time at Hunters Bakers on Church Road.
There will be a range of food, including hot pasties and pies, fresh cream cakes, brownies, blondies, cookie pies, and more.
There will also be the option to have any bakes served warm with custard or ice cream, or both.
Both bakeries will have Pudsey themed treats available.
