A MURDER investigation has been launched after a man was stabbed to death on a night out in Bolton.
The incident happened at 12.50am at the Pepper Alley pub in Crown Street.
Paramedics called police to the scene after reports that a man had been stabbed.
Officers attended and found a man in his 30s with two stab wounds, caused by a knife.
The man was taken to hospital but later died.
A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
It is the third stabbing in Bolton in less than 48 hours.
