A Bolton Conservative MP has taken a swipe at departing Home Secretary Suella Braverman.
The Home Secretary lost her job this morning, Monday, after a number of controversies.
These included describing the marches for Palestine as "hate marches" and suggesting that being homeless was a "lifestyle choice."
In a reshuffle this morning Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced that Mrs Braverman, a former Attorney General, would be asked to leave the cabinet.
She was replaced as Home Secretary by former Foreign Secretary James Cleverly, who in turn was replaced by former Prime Minister David Cameron.
And Mark Logan, who represents Bolton North East, has welcomed this move and taken a veiled jibe at the departing Home Secretary.
In tweet he said: "The Home Office, like any home, needs an adult at the helm.
"We’ve finally got that - inspired appointment."
He also gave it a thumbs up picture alongside a picture of the new Home Secretary.

After being sacked, Suella Braverman said: “it has been the greatest privilege of my life to serve as home secretary” and added: “I will have more to say in due course.”
