Motorists have been warned to take extra care as traffic lights on a busy Bolton road have been reported as not working.

The traffic lights are currently out on Trinity Street just before turning right on Black Horse Street, and when turning left on Trinity Street as you come out of Morrisons.

One driver noticed the faulty traffic lights at around 8.30 am and says that it is “very dangerous”.

He also says that drivers were waiting from all directions, unsure of what to do.

He said: “It was very dangerous.

“There were drivers waiting from all directions not knowing what to do but everyone was acting carefully.

“Hopefully the problem will be fixed soon.”

Transport for Greater Manchester have said that the issue has been reported and they are set to be fixed.
