The countdown to Christmas is underway as preparations are taking shape for a festive market.

The market will be held at St Catherine's Church in Horwich on Richmond Street on Saturday November 18 from 12pm until 3pm.

There will be a selection of seasonal goods on offer, including speciality cakes, jewellery, and crafts, plus lots of fun for the children with crafting and games to choose from.

The tombola is also back after proving to be a huge success, and there will be lots of prizes.

Children will get a visit from Santa too who is making a trip especially to the church.

It’s a great way to get into the festive spirit early this year and treat yourself to some tasty food and drink.
